Matt Langan is the Founder and CEO of L&R Communications, and has more than 20 years of public relations agency experience, supporting technology clients in the government, technology, nonprofits, education, telecommunications, entertainment, and software arenas. Matt brings the combination of extensive strategic experience coupled with the ability to provide results that generate lasting business value to clients.
Matt has worked with a mixture of early-stage tech start ups to larger more established brands serving many industry sectors from government and defense technologies, accessibility software, online music, travel security to software providers serving the education, nonprofit and commercial real estate markets.
From a social media perspective, Matt has managed award-winning corporate blogs, blogger outreach campaigns for large global Internet brands, and viral video fundraising campaigns involving major celebrities.
Matt has held leadership positions with a number of tech agencies in New York City and Washington, D.C. throughout his career. Most recently, he ran the technology division for a Washington, D.C.-based PR and New Media firm where he was responsible for client management, strategic services and overall division growth. Prior to this position, he ran operations for the Washington, DC office of a national tech PR firm.
Matt holds a master's degree in communications from Syracuse University's Newhouse School of Public Communications and a BA from Washington College.
Ana Rahona has 20 years of PR industry experience in both corporate and non-profit sectors in Washington, D.C. and New York City. At L&R Communications, Ana works with a variety of clients on a broad range of tactics including content marketing, media relations, message development, social media, internal communications, event planning, and speech writing.
Prior to working for L&R Communications, she held a number of in-house and PR agency positions including at Hill & Knowlton where she managed a number of global B2B technology and telecom accounts. In addition, she has served as the Communications Director for a leading global woman’s NGO and has worked on several major campaigns for Save the Children.
Ana holds a BA from University of Florida.
Mike McDonnell is a Content and Technology Strategist at L&R Communications. A new media and emerging technologies specialist who is aiming to redefine the relationship between clients, consumers, brands and corporations, Mike has over 15 years of content, brand journalism, marketing, web and IT experience in top private wealth finance management firms, universities and the non-profit sectors.
Mike's creative content development strategies help expand brand awareness and lead generation through targeted content promotion. Specializing in thoughtful, enlightening content and buzz creation via social media channels, Mike knows how to create and promote a brand's mission, and keep the conversation alive and engaging.
Whether creating, writing and maintaining award-winning blogs, revamping a website to provide a new direction for a brand, or engaging the consumer with dynamic social media campaigns, Mike's unique approach has been a difference-maker.
Mike holds a MS in Online Marketing and New Media Studies from Full Sail University and graduated with a BA from Washington College.
